About the Program
This program is designed to increase a design professional’s situational awareness to better forecast and identify potential liability issues before they happen. This presentation will examine a range of challenges during design and construction that can increase a design professional’s liability risk, especially when considering onerous contract terms. Participants will gain a better understanding of how differences in professional liability insurance for architects and engineers and general liability insurance for contractors can amplify a designer professional’s exposure. Emphasis will be placed on early reporting to brokers and maximizing insurance carrier loss prevention assistance.
