Sea Engineering, Inc. (SEI), incorporated in Hawaii in 1973, provides ocean and coastal engineering, marine environmental services, and marine construction and diving to private and government clients. Company principals and engineers have graduate level degrees (MS or PhD) in coastal/ocean engineering, coastal geology, oceanography, and civil engineering. SEI employs 6 registered professional engineers. SEI has three office locations: the Engineering division is at the Makai Research Pier in Waimanalo, Oahu; the Marine Operations division is in Honolulu Harbor; and the California Engineering division is in Santa Cruz, CA. Sea Engineering also has a Guam business license and office space. SEI has extensive experience throughout the Pacific in the design of coastal structures for shore protection, erosion control, shoreline/beach stabilization, and the protection of marinas and harbors, as well as the assessment of marine environmental impacts. SEI has been the recipient of numerous local and national coastal engineering awards.
