Wow – is it just me, or did 2024 fly by in the blink of an eye? As we wrap up this incredible year, I’m excited to share some events coming up in early 2025 that you won’t want to miss.
First up is Engineers Week (February 16-22), where we’ll be celebrating our profession with three fantastic events:
- A family-friendly outreach event at Windward Mall on February 17
- Our kickoff luncheon at the beautiful Hale Koa on February 18
- The signature Engineers Week Banquet at Honolulu Country Club on February 22
The February General Membership Meeting will be held on the Big Island at Mauna Lani Golf on February 28. This is our second neighbor island meeting and supports our commitment to strengthening our connections with members and partners statewide.
Mark your calendars for March 22, when we’ll host the 2025 Engineering Excellence Awards at the Japanese Cultural Center. Come celebrate Hawaii’s outstanding engineering achievements and make your voice heard in the People’s Choice Award!
Looking back at 2024, I’m incredibly proud of how we’ve deepened our connections within Hawaii’s A/E/C community. From expanding our support of UH’s College of Engineering to hosting collaborative events with AIA and GCA, we’re building bridges that make our entire professional community stronger.
Here’s to closing out 2024 with gratitude and stepping into 2025 with enthusiasm. I can’t wait to see you at our upcoming events!
